2 Earnest money to be deposited to escrow account & held until closing (this will be taken out of your checking acct). |
3 Provide proof of funds in an account for any money you are putting down (bank requires this). |
4 Provide Association President name & phone number. *Provide Realtor with receipt of dues paid. |
5 Inspections today. *Choose & call title/closing attorney. *Sellers: call fuel delivery company to shut off automatic fuel deliveries. |

7 | 8 Apply for loan and request letter stating you made application (need for contract). *Get good faith estimate from lender. |
9 Get inspection report to review. *Get letter from your lender stating you made application (give to Realtor). |
10 Get copy of flood certificate (if applicable). Do not cancel flood insurance (transfer to new owners). |
11 Fill out & sign inspection contingency amendment for any findings from inspections. |
12 Bank to order appraisal. *Ten day inspection period up today. |

28 Seller: call & cancel insurance effective as of midnight day of closing (we say midnight in case closing gets delayed). |
29 Review HUD closing statement 1-2 days prior to closing. Seller to bring tax bill to give to buyer at closing. |
30 Final walk-thru (ensure home is 'broom-swept' & all personal property listed in contract is left). *Fuel levels. *Test heat, hot/cold water, appliances. |
31 Closing! Sign contingency releases, walk-thru sign-off. Buyer home warranty starts today (if applicable). |
